Learning by doing is typically the best way to learn any skill however, learning by doing in the world of marketing, while necessary to some degree, is quite an expensive education. So, if you can align yourself with a team that is already producing results you'll cut the learning curve, your expenses and at the same time learn internet marketing fast.

In my case, I spent months following the directions of those who promoted the idea of free marketing opportunities online - you've heard about them - free classifieds, free ezine articles, free press releases, blogs, Craig's List, social networking pages and of course, the best is free SEO. And indeed, these are all free however, what it took me a little while to figure out is that to make these campaigns really effective I had to do an adwords or pay-per-click campaign first. This, of course, is the hardest and most costly lesson in which one must invest in order to learn internet marketing fast. But this is where you find what keywords work most effectively in all the free stuff!

Now, if I was really savvy I'd be able to do the keywords research AND set up the campaign myself. But this is not as easy as it sounds. Yes, you read Perry Marshall's book and do what you need to do. But the big boys are always leaving something out. There's always one more little thing to learn internet marketing fast. Don't forget copywriting, squeeze pages, and analysis of the numbers that come through the pay per click campaign. And, of course, before any of this happens one must have already clearly identified her target market. But your pay-per-click campaign is the very first place to start in order to cut the learning curve.

If it sounds daunting it can be. But there are clearly two solutions to learn internet marketing fast. Typically combining the two is the best plan. You can pay someone to put the campaign together, manage it and adjust it. OR you can learn all the intricacies of adwords yourself, investing whatever time is necessary. The answer is really just a matter of what your skill sets are, how motivated you are and how much money and time you are willing to invest.

You can, of course, also align with someone in the same business that has already blazed the trail and this is the quickest, most palatable way for the majority to travel and to learn internet marketing fast...

to create a external income stream.

Ebay is what we will be using to start our new
revenue. If you don't already have an ebay account,
go to www.ebay.com and sign-up.

Since this is a short article, we're going to
resell ebooks. There are many sites that offer
free ebooks for resell, I'm using www.ebooks-world.com.

Once you've got a couple ebooks, go ahead and list
them on ebay. It's better if you list more than 1
ebook, because the more streams, the more income.

I placed 12 ebooks on ebay, and made over $3,500!!!

also place an affiliate on your site. Follow the
instructions below to start your 2nd income stream.

1st- Go to www.clickbank.com, and click "Sign-Up".

2nd- Finish the sign-up process, and login.

3rd- Click on the "Marketplace" button.

4th- Browse through some of the categories.

5th- Find one that pays well, and click "Create Hoplink".

6th- Enter your "Username" in the box, and click "Create"

7th- Copy and Paste the "Second Code" into your website.

8th- Visitors click on the link, buy the product, and you get money.

It's as simple as that, you can create multiple hoplinks,
which brings in multiple income streams.

The best way is to get on search engines like google,yahoo,and MSN.
But if you don't want to spend money on google adwords or any other
search engine fees, you'll need to read below.

Youtube is a powerful network, when used correctly it can be an
advantage. You'll need to use a video editing software like
Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, or Sony Vegas.

Then simply make a video promoting your site in the video's
description put your websites url. Leave the video for a
week or two, and before you know it loads of traffic will come in.

a visitor to your site clicks on Google's ads.

The ads genera is based on what your site's topic is- example:

The payout all depends on the top paying keywords- example:

"Yahoo Hosting" is a keyword that pays $94/click!!!

Overall this program can be very successful, or you could
only earn a couple dollars. It all depends on how you use
it, many websites offer ebooks on the subject. I suggest

over $200 a day.

For webmasters this is an excellent way to bring repeat traffic to your site. Think about it....every time a web surfer opens their RSS reader to get the headlines for all the sites they monitor, they'll also see your site's updates.

Instead of relying on them to bookmark your site and return at a later date, their RSS reader keeps your site fresh in their minds.

So when they open their reader to check the headlines for CNN, Yahoo or any other feeds they subscribe to, they'll also get the latest updates from you!

Avoid Email Spam Filters

Many webmasters are now dumping their newsletters and switching to this method of content distribution because you don't have to worry about dodging the spam filters.

I don't think that RSS will completely replace email newsletters, but I can see them definitely being used as an alternative more and more.

When you send an email newsletter more than 40-50% of the people won't even receive it due to spam filters or because of the fact it gets lost in all the junk mail your subscribers receive.

With RSS feeds, you don't have to worry about that because you're not sending an email, your simply sending out a news feed for all the readers to pick up.

Export Your RSS Feed

The cool thing about these feeds is that other people can use them as content on their site. So if you have a feed that is of particular interest to another webmaster, they can post your content on their site with a simple javascript code. This is another great traffic opportunity!

How to Create an RSS Feed

First you need to build your feeds. I would suggest using some type of software unless you like writing XML by hand. (Yuck!)

I use www.feedforall.com. They have an easy-to-use feed builder that lets you create and manage all your feeds in one place.

Then once you've created your feed you have to upload the XML file to your web server. FeedForAll.com will automatically convert your feed into the XML format so you don't need to worry about additional formatting or coding.

The URL will be something like http://www.yoursite.com/yourfeed.xml. This is the link to your RSS/XML feed, and the one you'll be advertising so people can subscribe.

So any time you add a new article to your feed, that XML file is updated.

FeedForAll also has a built-in upload feature so you can upload the XML file right to your web server with their software, assuming your web host has FTP access.
